WESTSIDE AQUATIC CENTER
At the time of building, the Aquatic Center was one of only two Myrtha (Olympic pool provider) pools in Texas. The facility consists of two pools; one 50-meter pool for diving and competition swimming and one smaller pool for competition warm-ups and community use. Additionally, there are dressing rooms, a community classroom and a weight room. The facility uses an advanced dehumidification system that pulls warmer water from the surface of the competition pool and circulates that water through the HVAC equipment, allowing for "faster" competitive conditions.
