The LEED Silver, Marquez Hall features customized classrooms, research and teaching laboratories; smart classrooms equipped with wireless networking and interactive audio-visual technology; a multi-purpose visualization classroom to support interdisciplinary collaboration between Petroleum Engineering, Geology and Geophysics; capacity for increased faculty research activity and enrollment of up to 400 students; offices and meeting space designed to enhance interaction between students and faculty as well as research teams; and informational displays that will educate campus visitors about the petroleum industry.
