The new addition consisted of a 3-story, cast-in-place structure that terminated into an existing Career and Technology building that was built in the 1940s. Renovations to the building and renovations to the administration area were included in the project. 

The magnet school is situated on the campus of Northside ISD’s oldest high school, Marshall High School, which also underwent significant renovations.
