Haslet Elementary School is a two-story, 100,431-sf facility that included classrooms, collaborative areas, cafeteria, auditorium, gymnasium and administration offices. The facility centers around a learning commons and library, which is designed to feel like a tree-house. Classrooms are located adjacent to the learning commons and additional flex space and focus rooms surrounding the commons space have movable walls, creating greater adaptability for class size and teaching.
